Celebrate the enduring elegance and soaring lyricism of the Italian violin tradition. This program explores the vibrant spirit of Italy through the centuries, featuring the architectural beauty of early Baroque composer Isabella Leonarda’s Sonata Duodecima; the sweeping, passionate intensity of Ottorino Respighi’s Violin Sonata; and the witty, neoclassical charm of Stravinsky’s Suite italienne.
