This season, LUVME's theme is "the song." The ensemble's first concert features the music of David Del Tredici, the late Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, and music from his former students, including Mason Bates, Tamar Muscal, and Whitney George. The performance is prefaced by a documentary on Del Tredici's life. Its director, Daniel Bellavsky, joins us to discuss the film and answer questions. For those wishing to attend both, check the website for details about a dinner option between the film and the concert. Darin Lewis, director. LU Students attend for FREE, click for more info.
