Next Stage PA is a statewide artist development initiative that supports emerging artists by guiding them through a four-stop tour across Pennsylvania, combined with targeted professional training in branding, marketing, legal readiness, and performance logistics. Administered by The Chamber Foundation of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, the program mirrors the role of a traditional manager—but through a collaborative network of cultural venues, media mentors, and creative businesses. Artists receive stipends, perform in different community settings (urban, suburban, and rural), and invest in local services including marketing, graphic design, and styling—stimulating regional economies as they grow as professionals. Participating venues:
Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce - Live in the Rose Garden
Zoellner Arts Center
Appell Center for the Performing Arts
2026-2027 Next Stage PA Artists:
Sir Dominique Jordan
Sir Dominique Jordan is a Spoken Word Poet, award winning Hip Hop Artivist (currently the Central PA Hip Hop Artist of the Year), seasoned educator, and community organizer whom utilizes the tools of storytelling, poetry, and music as pathways to healing, resilience, and connection. As a performer, workshop facilitator and professional speaker, he guides participants to turn vulnerability into creative strength, using expressive arts to foster self‑empowerment and empathy toward others.
Wood Flower
Wood Flower’s combination of tight harmonies, driving banjo, soulful mandolin, ripping twin guitars all supported by a solid bass line are highlights that define this up-and-coming Bluegrass band. Their unique yet traditional approach to Bluegrass music was formed in the spring of 2022 between a music teacher and his former guitar student from ten years prior who had recently graduated from Berklee College of Music. A Wood Flower performance mixes original songs with Bluegrass classics and an occasional outside the box cover tune.
Only two weeks after Wood Flower’s first public performance they were honored to open for The Seldom Scene, and have since shared the stage with such greats as Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder, Wyatt Ellis and East Nash Grass.
They have entertained music fans at a variety of festivals including Wind Gap Bluegrass Festival, Podunk Bluegrass Festival, Musikfest, Appalachian Fiddle & Bluegrass Association Festival, Basin Bluegrass Festival and at listening rooms such as Godfrey Daniels, Sellersville Theater and the Ardmore Music Hall.
Wood Flower's self-titled debut album includes ten tracks, seven of which are original material and was released in the fall of 2024. It is available for purchase or streaming on all major platforms.
Mariposas Galácticas
Mariposas Galácticas [Galactic Butterflies] is an eight-piece band from Philadelphia that performs a fusion of kumbia [folk music from Latin America], punk, and klezmer music.
