Schechter's global sound stems from her Hasidic music background and travels to the Middle East, African, Turkey, Kurdistan, and Greece. having studied ethnomusicology extensively and collaborated with folk musicians worldwide, Schechter has honed the group's diverse style. They have performed in venues across America and Europe, including Central Park's Summer Stage series, Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park, and Queen Elizabeth Hall in London.
