November 2025 Highlights

A MESSAGE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
As November begins, our stages come alive with a rich variety of performances—from a wayward pigeon to Mozart's Figaro in the Presenting Series to concerts by Lehigh’s Music Department and a Pulitzer Prize-winning play from the Department of Theatre. During this season of thanks, we are proud to honor veterans with a special ticket offer this month.

With gratitude, Mark Fitzgerald Wilson

PRESENTING SERIES

It's not easy being the Pigeon-you never get to do ANYTHING! But when the Bus Driver has a crisis that threatens to make her passengers (gasp!) late, maybe that wily bird CAN do something. Featuring an innovative mix of songs and feathers, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical! is sure to get everyone's wings flapping. Come early and join us for our FREE Family FUN-A-PALOOZA from 10am - 1:30pm! Check our website for more details. Thanks to the Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital for their support of our Family Series.

For their Magic, Moonlight and Mistletoe tour, the energetic musical troupe of world-class singers, dancers and instrumentalists will perform a variety show-styled evening of its popular genre-twisting covers of pop hits, with a few holiday classics sprinkled in.  Audiences can expect to hear familiar hits — from Guns ‘n’ Roses to the Spice Girls to Chappell Roan — in the throwback styles of yesteryear.

See Mozart's comic masterpiece, where love, intrigue, and politics hilariously collide on the eve of Figaro and Susanna's wedding. Join us for a free pre-concert talk at 3pm, featuring Lehigh professor Monica A. Hershberger, a music historian whose research centers on the history of opera in the United States.

LEHIGH UNIVERSITY MUSIC DEPARTMENT

Ensembles comprised of Lehigh University students and faculty present an exciting program of contemporary jazz works in their fall concert, led by director Cecilia Coleman.

The Wind Ensemble presents a concert of works written in the first 25 years of the 21st century. Compositions include Give us This Day, One Life Beautiful, and Omar Thomas' Come Sunday. Darin Lewis, director.

The Lehigh University Jazz Repertory Orchestra, featuring jazz faculty and students, explores the timeless works of legendary composer and arranger Bill Holman. Holman's career spanned collaborations with Stan Kenton, the Mel Lewis Jazz Orchestra, and many other major ensembles.

LEHIGH UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF THEATRE

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, The Flick captures the quiet beauty of everyday life. Set in a crumbling movie theater, this masterfully observed play follows three employees as they sweep popcorn and navigate the delicate terrain of friendship, heartbreak, and longing for something more. Zoë Miller '26, director.
