September 2025 Highlights

A MESSAGE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The 2025-2026 season is here! Lehigh students are back on campus and the arts center is buzzing with activity. The Bacon Brothers, Morgan Freeman's Symphonic Blues Experience, and Noli Timere kick off the fall season. Lehigh's Music Department present LUVME, Hell's Kitchen Funk Orchestra, and Attacca Quartet. We'll see you in the center soon.
With gratitude, Mark Fitzgerald Wilson

For The Bacon Brothers, music is all about exploration. The siblings have spent the better part of three decades creating their own mix of folk, rock, soul, and country music. They call that diverse sound "forosoco," and it's taken them around the world. And back, by popular demand, to Zoellner!

SOLD OUT (Call the Box Office at 610-758-2787 ext. 0 to be added to the waitlist)
Academy Award-winning legend Morgan Freeman joins us on stage to introduce this soul-stirring journey through the heart of the Mississippi Delta, where the Blues was born. This immersive experience highlights the region's enduring spirit and the pivotal role of Ground Zero Blues Club, founded by Mr. Freeman, in Clarksdale, Mississippi-a sacred ground for Blues preservation and a living testament to its power. Thanks to our media partner WDIY 88.1 for their support.

The culmination of a five-year collaboration between director/choreographer Rebecca Lazier and renowned sculptor Janet Echelman, Noli Timere is a soaring aerial performance featuring a custom-designed, voluminous Echelman net sculpture and eight outstanding performers. The work is a fusion of contemporary dance and avant-garde circus, art installation and advanced engineering, public sculpture and social practice, exploring how we navigate an unstable world.

LUVME's first concert of the semester features work by its two directors, Darin Lewis and Kyle Wernke, and performances by Steven Beck (piano), Chris Gross (cello), and Michael Jorgensen (violin).

Bill Warfield and the Hell's Kitchen Funk Orchestra are back with their signature mix of jazz, blues, and soul. Known for their modernistic pieces, salsa rhythms, and post-bop energy, HKFO returns to the funk groove following their 2024 album with Gary Bartz. Join us for an electrifying performance! Bill Warfield, director.

The ensemble, winner of two Grammys, performs string quartets by Italians and Italian-Americans. Co-sponsored by Chamber Music Lehigh Valley and the Lehigh Music Department. Music by Salerni, Ippolito, and Verdi
