- Strike Anywhere Ensemble Performance Opportunities
POP UP is an artistic adventure in which an audience follows clues and an illustrated map to find a series of site-specific, pop-up performances within a walkable area. Inspired by interviews with local residents, POP UP is performed by a collective of multidisciplinary performers in public spaces scattered around one neighborhood or campus. The project was developed by the Strike Anywhere Performance Ensemble (NYC) and the Tours Soundpainting Orchestra (France), two of the world’s preeminent Soundpainting ensembles.
Strike Anywhere will perform POP UP in South Bethlehem/on Lehigh’s campus on April 27th-28th, 2024. Students interested in performing with the community chorus, to be featured in the finale of the performance, should plan to attend two 2-hour rehearsals during the week of April 21st, as well as the performances on April 27th & 28th.
